Ask yourself 4 questions then turn around the thoughts

Transform tormenting thoughts into peaceful truth in 5 steps:
Write down your most tormenting thought.
In our example, you might write: He or she stopped
calling me, and that means they don’t care about me.
Next, you’ll question it.
2. Ask yourself, “Is that true?” “Can I absolutely know
Does that thought match what you know to be true
in your deepest sense of reality?
Write down your answers.
3. Explore how you live and act when you believe that thought.
Do you feel peace or stress? Feel closer or separated?
When you believe that thought,
do you treat yourself and others well, or not?
Write down your answers.
4. Explore what you would be and what life
would be like without this thought.
Imagine how things open up when you see
the situation without that old troubling thought.
Write down how your life will change.
5. Turn around that thought by finding 3 thoughts
as true or truer than your original thought.
In our example, your turnaround may be:
I don’t care about him or her as my great match.
I don’t care about me when I give myself stress
He or she DOES care about me.
Find 3 true examples how each turnaround
is as true or truer than your original thought.
This completes THE WORK of Byron Katie.
